Dustin Hoffman'ın 2008 Projesi

Çift Oscar ödüllü aktör Dustin Hoffman yazar Scott Turow'un Personal Injuries adlı kitabının sinema uyarlamasında rol alacak. Hoffman ayrıca filmin yapımcılığını ve ortak senaristliğini de üstlenecek. Kitap bir avukatın hikayesini anlatacak. Hoffman filmin önümüzdeki yaz vizyonda olmasını planlıyor, ama film henüz senaryo yazım aşamasında.

Rambo rolü önce Dustin Hoffman’a önerilmiş

Amerikalı aktör Dustin Hoffman, Sylvester Stallone’u üne kavuşturan filmlerden “İlk Kan”daki “Rambo” rolünün ilk olarak kendisine teklif edildiğini, ancak rolü reddettiğini söyledi.

70 yaşındaki Hoffman, “extra” programında yaptığı açıklamada, “Rambo rolünü oynamam için önce bana teklif getirdiler, ancak rol fazla şiddet içerikliydi, reddettim” dedi.

Rocky ve Rambo rolleriyle üne kavuşan Sylvester Stallone, 1982’de çekilen ilk Rambo filminin senaryosunun 1970’lerin sonunda Steve McQueen, Al Pacino, Gene Hackman gibi ünlü oyuncularca reddedildiğini söylemiş, ancak bu aktörler arasında Hoffman’ı saymamıştı.

Dustin Hoffman, 1980’de “Kramer, Kramer’e Karşı”, 1989’da “Yağmur Adam” filmleriyle en iyi erkek oyuncu dalında Oscar ödülü kazanmıştı.
