Amerika'dan sonra gösterildiği her ülkede ilgiyle izlenen 'Grey's Anatomy' dizisinin yıldızı Katherine Heigl, yapımcılarıyla para yüzünden anlaşmazlığa düşünce, kadrodan çıkmaya karar verdi.

More spin-off details are filtering out of Grey’s Anatomy headquarters.

Despite producers’ efforts to keep a lid on the potential Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, tentatively titled Private Practice, some more supposed plot spoilers have been exposed by the Los Angeles Times:

After reaching her personal and professional breaking point, Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) heads down to Santa Monica, Calif.

The plan: to seek advice from two of her old medical school friends, Naomi (Merrin Dungey) and Jackson (Taye Diggs).

This is a couple whom she believes have it all: a beautiful teen daughter, a great marriage and a highly successful health cooperative.

Addison quickly learns, though, that Jackson, also a successful TV health guru, has divorced Naomi. During her visit to California, Addison meets the rest of the gang at the cooperative - a widowed alternative medicine practitioner, a self-doubting therapist, and a male gynecologist who knows little about women - and realizes she’s on familiar ground.

Figuring she’s due for a change and she’d fid right in with this driven, yet quirky crew, Addison decides to bolt Seattle Grace and join the Oceanside Wellness Group - if ABC picks up the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, of course.

Great Chemistry on Set of Grey’s Anatomy Spin-Off, Reports Taye Diggs
The cast of the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off starring Kate Walsh and Taye Diggs is really clicking, Diggs tells People.

“They’re great. We have really great chemistry,” said Diggs of his fellow cast members Thursday at the opening of the new club Runway, in New York City.

The initial two-hour episode of Greys Anatomy, which is expected to start the spin-off series and is titled “The Other Side of This Life” (Parts I & II), has just finished filming, according to Diggs.

“We’re hoping people dig it,” Diggs said.

ABC plans to test out the show with a “back-door pilot,” an expanded two-hour episode of Grey’s Anatomy, USA Today reported in February.

The air date for the episode has not been set by ABC, officially, although sources tell us it will be May 3.

Taye Diggs, who said he plays a “general practitioner” on the show (rumored to be called Private Practice), was expectedly coy when asked if he could reveal any key plot details of the spin-off.

“Plot what? Secrets?” he said. “I can’t tell you! It’s a secret.”

Grey’s Anatomy creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes is writing the first episode, which, according to several accounts, will feature Dr. Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh), mulling an out-of-town job offer.

In the ABC hit series Grey’s Anatomy, Sandra Oh brilliantly portrays Dr. Cristina Yang, a doctor who does her best to save lives while getting over a miscarriage and struggling to balance her tremendous love for Dr. Preston Burke and her lofty career aspirations.

Sandra Oh won the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a series in 2006 and the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series in 2007.

It seems as if she is just hitting her stride after also making a strong impression in Sideways, a film directed by her now ex-husband, Alexander Payne.

Sandra Oh may be the first case of a Korean succeeding in Hollywood, where Asians are rarely part of the mainstream. In an exclusive e-mail interview with the Chosun Ilbo, she opens up about her life and work…

Q: You are one of a few Asian actresses who have been recognized for talent and risen to stardom in Hollywood. What do you think of your position or status?

Sandra Oh: I recognize that there are not many of us, so I take my position very seriously. It is a circumstance that I continually find challenging, both personally and professionally, but overall, I ** extremely grateful and honored.

Q: Grey’s Anatomy is a great show that brought you the 2006 Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Why do you think your role attracted such considerable attention? Can you explain your feelings when you won the awards?

Sandra Oh: I would hope that my role attracted all that attention because my work was good and deserved it. I work very hard, sometimes too much, at my job because I love it so much. It is more than wonderful when all your hard work is noticed and honored by your peers and the industry. Winning the Golden Globe was one of the best moments of my life.

Do you maintain your identity as Korean while acting in the U.S.?

Sandra Oh: Before anything, before I open my mouth or express something of the character I ** playing, you are seeing an Asian woman, a woman of Korean descent. I carry my identity with me, it is my face. But moving beyond that, I carry my own experience to every role I play. Of course I have experienced many difficulties in this industry based on my race. It’s too large a question to answer here… But that is the same for everybody. Life is not fair, it is not easy, but it is wonderful. It all depends on how you choose to live it.

Q: You have built a fan base in Korea through Grey’s Anatomy. Cristina is an attractive, dignified, cynical woman, who at times is off the wall, with high ambitions to be the no. 1. In some ways, many of your fans imagine that you may be similar in reality. Would that be a correct assessment?

Sandra Oh: Yes and no. I would not characterize myself as similar to Cristina but for her work ethic and dedication to it….I find Cristina to be an emotionally stunted person with extreme communication problems, that’s what I love about her and why I love to play her. But I don’t share those traits; I ** not at all cynical, nor ** I that literal. I ** messy though, very, very messy. My mother still hounds me today about it.

Q: You were born in Ottawa and reportedly started acting at the age of six. Did your parents make you start acting at an early age? When did you start to have a passion for acting? Could you talk a little bit about your parents?

Sandra Oh: I did not start acting until I was 10. I started dancing when I was four, though. My parents were not the ones who brought me to acting. I brought myself, and when I found it, I could never go back. I was very fortunate because although I loved dance (ballet) with all my heart, I knew I was not good enough to be a professional dancer. I knew I loved performing. Still nothing beats being on stage for me; I prefer the stage.”

NOTE: Sandra Oh’s parents left Seoul in the early 1960s for the U.S. Her father Oh Joon-soo and mother Oh Young-nam studied economics and biochemistry at different universities, but both of them transferred to the University of Toronto to continue their studies. Her father eventually moved to Ottawa in the 70s, where they still live. Sandra Oh’s sister Grace (Sun-ju) is a successful lawyer, and her younger brother Raymond (San-in) is completing his PhD in genetics.

Q: What is the difference between acting in Canada and acting in Hollywood?

Sandra Oh: Huge, huge difference, both good and bad. First of all in Canada, someone like me can be a star, a leading lady. In the U.S., much more difficult. They always want to keep you in the supporting roles. It is also debatable if there is even a star system in Canada, or an indigenous film industry. Canada is still at the mercy of the U.S. film industry. In Canada, it is very difficult to make a living as an actor…In the U.S., there is more drive towards a certain kind of broad reaching success, and with that comes much more stress and sacrifice. In Canada, even if you are very successful, you can lead a very normal and healthy life. Maybe not much glamour or wealth or world reaching success, but quite normal.

Q: What does Korea mean to you?

Sandra Oh: Korea, to me is a mystery. It is a place I ** told I belong to and know somewhere deep in my genetics that I belong to, but it is a mystery to me. I could say it is the birthplace and homeland of my parents, but they are just as Canadian as they are Korean, having spent the majority of their lives here in North America. I’m sure that the Korea they know and remember is long gone. It is a sometimes painful reminder, since living in North America, that I ** different. It is a place I long to feel comfortable in. Ultimately, Korea is a place I wish to visit and experience again. And maybe find another part of myself.

Well, it appears either Shonda Rhimes had a change of heart or the insider was given inaccurate intelligence, because Ausiello reports that the two of them are definitely going to hook up again before she leaves for L.A.!

In fact, rumor has it that it’s her affair with Alex (Justin Chambers) that prompts Addison (Kate Walsh) to flee Seattle - not just her rift with Mark (Eric Dane), as was originally reported.

Also not helping matters, though, is McSteamy’s “failure” to stick to his 60-day vow of chastity. Why does our TV Guide source I put “failure” in quotes, you ask? Because of a twist (and a surprising one at that)!

Moreover, Addison won’t be the only Seattle Grace doc who is considering a change of scenery in the coming weeks, inside sources say.

All the drama surrounding O’Mizzie will prompt George (T.R. Knight) to consider transferring to another hospital as well.

An Interview With Chandra Wilson
On Grey’s Anatomy, SAG Award winner and Emmy nominee Chandra Wilson plays Dr. Miranda Bailey (aka “The Nazi”), a hardened surgeon who doesn’t take crap from anyone. Although recently, her tough-as-nails exterior has been whittled down a bit thanks to the arrival of her son.

The real Chandra Wilson and the fictional Miranda Bailey share much in common - in particular, their lifestyles of juggling work and family. Chandra however, couldn’t be nicer. TV with MeeVee caught up with her and her brood at the TCA Press Tour for an interview. See below…

TV with MeeVee: Both you and Miranda Bailey have your hands full, with a career and a family at home. What’s your secret?
Chandra Wilson: You know, making it work. Like even tonight. This is a night where I know I’m going to be gone all day tomorrow, so if I’m not going to see [my son], even if I’m in the same room, because I’m getting dressed - we’ve worked all week long, we’ve had long days, and I needed to come do this today, and I said: “Okay. You guys get to ride with me today.” So, just like Dr. Bailey sometimes rolls up with the baby [laughs], you just make it work.

TV with MeeVee: One of the most common observations about Grey’s Anatomy is its commitment to casting roles traditionally not held by women and/or people of color — your role in particular. Do you think this a sign that the industry’s coming around? What’s your experience been like?
Chandra Wilson: It’s been kind of a different journey for me, coming out of New York, as opposed to really being here in L.A., and going through the movie and studio circuit here in L.A. This role came up, and she was non-traditionally cast, so that’s another place where I wasn’t necessarily affected by any preferences that are out there in the world right now, or in Hollywood. Grey’s is a multi-ethnic show [laughs], so that’s another place. I’m kind of living in the cocoon of all circumstances that prove that there’s nothing wrong. Once I step out of Grey’s, that’s when I can say, “Okay, wait a minute. We don’t have enough men and women of color,” or, “We need more men and women of color as show-runners.” But while I’m in Grey’s Anatomy, I’m looking at it through those eyes.

TV with MeeVee: Up until this point, few - if any - African American females were cast as doctors on TV, let alone surgeons. Do you get a sense that this resonates with viewers?
Chandra Wilson: Yeah. Basically, what folks have is a deep appreciation for what they’re able to see on television. And I understand, from the outside looking in, how big that is. How big it is to see me playing Dr. Miranda Bailey. So, as many people that walk up to me and say, “Oh! You’re that nurse on that show!” [laughs] There are enough that really get that, no, it’s more than that, what [I’m] playing. And I know that that means something to somebody, to some little girl that’s sitting out there that wants to be something else - that never thought about, possibly, being a surgeon. And now, the idea is there. I get that.

TV with MeeVee: Was there anyone in particular who inspired you along the way?
Chandra Wilson: I grew up in Houston, so one of my biggest performing arts role models were the Allen sisters, with Debbie Allen and Phylicia Ayers. It was all about, “Yeah, I can dance at Joffrey if I want to,” you know what I mean? [laughs] Or, “I can go to ABT,” or, “I need to go to New York, and I need to do Broadway,” or, “I need to stay in school and graduate,” “I need to learn what producing is,” “I need to learn what directing is.” Because that’s the bar that they set for the possibilities in television and in performing arts for women of color, absolutely.

TV with MeeVee: Do you miss New York?
Chandra Wilson: Gosh. You know, I still consider that my home. I was there for almost 20 years. My stuff is still there. But, because I was from Houston, New York was just kind of the place where I went to school and where I worked. Just like L.A. is the place where I’m working right now. So, I’m not even really sure where home is. [laughs]

TV with MeeVee: It’s where the children are.
Chandra Wilson: [laughs] Exactly. We just make it, wherever we are.

TV with MeeVee: Last question: What are your favorite TV shows?
Chandra Wilson: Oh, gosh. Well, it’s hard for me to watch primetime, because I watch three and a half hours of soap operas every day. I watch everything on ABC, and The Young and the Restless. So, here in L.A., I have to switch back and forth for about a half hour when The Young and the Restless and All My Children cross over. It’s a pain, but I make the switch during the commercials. I give myself one VHS tape to record it, I will not TiVo; otherwise I will never get through them all. It’s just too easy an out. So I give myself my one VHS tape to record them each day if I’m working, and I have to get through them that night because I need that tape for the next day. So, a lot of times, I’m up ’til 2-3 in the morning keeping track of my soaps [laughs], so I can use my tape the next day.

TV with MeeVee: That’s impressive! Are you master of the VCR?
Chandra Wilson: I’m doing my thing when I roll out at six o’clock in the morning. Sometimes I do PM when I’m supposed to do **, and I miss a day, and then I have to catch up on SOAPnet that night. But, I have it set to record.

Dissecting 'Grey's Anatomy'
Scene: Morning. Derek Shepherd awakens in bed next to fellow doctor Meredith Grey. Izzie Stevens bursts in - wearing only a towel - and complains about another doc who just walked in on her in the bathroom.

Dr. Ben Gbulie, chief resident at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., is incredulous: "Do you realize there is one attending (doctor) and three residents in the same bedroom right now? In the morning?? And one of them is half-naked?!"

Gbulie and other real-life interns and residents have gathered to watch an episode of ABC's hit medical drama, "Grey's Anatomy." The show's interns at fictional Seattle Grace Hospital practically all live together in one big house, where bed-hopping is a sport.

"Um, noooo, my life isn't really like that," Gbulie said.

The residents and interns in orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry and general surgery who wander in are all on-call, many of them 15 hours into their shifts. Amid their harried work lives, it's not easy to be a regular "Grey's" watcher, but they're likely - even from casual viewing - to know more personal details about the characters on "Grey's" than they do about one another.

"Grey's Anatomy" is the nation's most popular non-reality program - emphasis on "non."

"It's not about the medicine," sixth-year resident Vanessa Ngakeng said. "It's entertainment."

"Sleep with an attending?" she said. "No way."

In real life, Patrick Dempsey, who plays Dr. Shepherd, and his wife just had twins. And Chandra Wilson (Dr. Bailey) won a Screen Actors Guild award.

"Which one is Bailey?" Gbulie asks. She's the one known as "the Nazi," he's told. It's the character closest to himself, a late-year resident, shepherding the interns.

Judging from room reaction, she's a favorite character because, unlike the attendings who are too busy sleeping with their charges, she keeps the interns in check.

The group's response gets livelier as the show progresses.

So, unlike George, real interns wouldn't get to scrub in on an appendectomy on their first day of residency?

"The first day, you don't even know how to hold a scalpel," Ngakeng said.

And all the show's back-talking of superiors?

"The way they talk to the attendings is just wrong," podiatrist Dr. Michangelo Scruggs said.

How about dating a patient?

"The thing is, after seeing a patient in a certain way, I don't want to see anything else," Scruggs said. "But I deal with feet."

Many lascivious scenes later, Dr. McDreamy - a neurosurgeon - has to open up a patient and perform something a cardiothoracic surgeon actually would do. The room is riveted.

Gbulie: "He's aspirating ... That's good TV!"

The residents agree that the terminology and medical procedures are pretty accurate. Usually.

But then there are TV "sweeps" months, when good ratings are a must and the writers get carried away. Like, an intern gets to drill holes - with an industrial drill - into the head of a patient trapped under a car because of a ferry accident.

Among the interns, three of the show's story lines were voted the most entertaining:

No. 3: Code Black! There's live ammo in a patient's body, Meredith's got her hands on it, and unless the hottie-hot bomb squad guy can disarm it, the whole operating room might explode!

Gbulie: "That's not comparable with real life, but I thought it was a beautiful story."

No. 2: Izzie cuts the (incomprehensible medical acronym alert!) LVAD wire! Izzie endangers her patient (and fiance) by cutting the wire to his heart pump in order to make him "sicker" - so he'll move up the transplant list. And she doesn't get fired!

No. 1: Meredith rises from the dead! Meredith drowns, McDreamy pulls her from the waters. Then, miraculously, she comes back to life, and immediately begins talking in that whiny voice of hers (which was inexplicably unaffected by having had a tube down her throat while she was ... did we mention she was dead?).

Is Meredith Grey ready for yet another tragedy? We may have to prepare ourselves to find out, according to a recent spoiler rumor.

We’ll see. According, to E! Online, just when we were thinking Meredith Grey’s bright, shiny, post-death-experience life was getting back on track, our heroine will get close to someone only to lose her.

depresifim diyen dizilere taş çıkaran seviyede trajedi ve travma içermesine rağman kasvete pek yer vermiyor;gerçek duygular barındırsa bile çok da gerçekçi olmaya çalışmıyor.ve iki çok sağlam dayanağı var:diyaloglar ve müzikler.ikisi de izleyici de aidiyet duygusu yaratıyor ve onu dizinin yer yer gerçekle bezeli fantazi dünyasının içine çekiyor.sözleri iyi yazılmış güzel bir müziği dinlerken başka alemlere gitmek gibi...

Bugün Gece Gündüz programında "kırmızı halı"yı gösterdiler en şıkları seçmişler. Ellen Pompeo ve Katherine Heigl en şıklar arasında yer almış ve Ellen'ı da boydan boya gösterdiler siyah straplez bir elbise giymiş ama saçları çok kötü görünüyordu yine de en şıklardan biriydi gerçekten.
Ben Sandra Oh'u, Katherine Heigl'ı, Chandra Wilson'ı ve bir de Kate Walsh'ı gördüm o da ödül verenlerden biriydi çok güzel borda bir elbise giymişti.Ama Patrick Dempsey'i göremedim ya en çok onu merak ediyordum bu akşam NTV'de ödül töreninin tekrarı var inşallah o zaman görebilirim.

ABC won Wednesday's ratings title, while "Private Practice" and NBC's "Bionic Woman" kicked off what could be a very competitive battle with strong premieres.

For the night, ABC averaged a 9.4 rating/15 share, topping second-place CBS, 7.0/11, by a comfortable margin. NBC was close behind in third at 6.8/11. FOX, 3.8/6, finished fourth, and The CW posted a 2.4/4 for fifth.

The adults 18-49 race was much tighter, with ABC's 4.2 rating just beating NBC's 4.1. CBS, 3.3, came in third in the key ad demographic. FOX averaged 2.5 and The CW 1.8.

The "Dancing with the Stars" results show dominated the 8 p.m. hour for ABC, drawing an 11.1/18. "Deal or No Deal," 5.6/9, put NBC in second. "Kid Nation" finished third for CBS, ahead of "Back to You," 5.1/9, and "'Til Death," 3.8/6, on FOX. "America's Next Top Model" delivered a 3.1/5 for The CW.

"Private Practice" debuted with a 9.7/15 for ABC at 9 p.m., making it the most-watched series premiere thus far this season. The "Bionic Woman" premiere earned an 8.4/13 and was also the night's top show among adults 18-49. "Criminal Minds" began its third season with an 8.2/13 for CBS. FOX's "Kitchen Nightmares" was fourth. "Gossip Girl" fell off some from last week's premiere, drawing a 1.8/3 for The CW.

İkinci en pahalı dizi ise 30 saniyesi 394 bin dolarla ABC'nin "Wisteria Lane" dizisi oldu.

Ancak uzmanlar ikinci yarı yılda sıralamaya girecek "American Idol"ün 500 - 700 bin dolara ulaşacağı tahmin edilen reklam fiyatıyla şimdiden birinciliğine kesin gözüyle bakıyor.

Yazımın bu bölümü, bir avuç kadar olduğumuzu düşündüğüm 'Grey's Anatomy' hayranlarına ayırdım. Dizi Digiturk'e özel Dizimax'te ve Fox TV'de dublaj ile katledilerek ve Kutsi'ye oynatılarak Show TV'de gösteriliyor. 27 Eylül'de, Amerikalılar dördüncü sezonu izlemeye başladı. Ama dizide çok önemli iki karakter yer almıyor.

SEN MİSİN O LAFI EDEN
Yakışıklı cerrah Burke ile Addison Montgomery... Addison yeni dizi 'Private Practice'de başrolü oynuyor. Karizmatik Doktor Burke'ün gidişi ise biraz olaylı oldu. Geçen sezon sonunda Dr. Burke, evlenmekten son dakikada cayınca, diziyi izleyen evlerden 'haydaaa, ni eşen var çayda!' naraları yükselmişti. Oysa işin içinde iş vardı. Oyuncu Isaah Washington, George O'Malley karakterini canlandıran ve özel hayatında da eşcinsel olan T.R. Knight'e set dışındaki bir kavgada i..e deyince, insan hakları ve eşcinsel örgütleri ayağa kalktı. Ve kanal Washington'u diziden gönderdi. Kate Walsh celebrates her 40th birthday bash with close friends at Parc Lounge in West Hollywood on Saturday night. The Private Practice star was joined by her former Grey’s Anatomy pals Sara Ramirez and Justin Chambers (and his wife Keisha).
Guests wore pins/badges of Kate as a little girl. What a girl Kate was!
Other pictures include Kate’s Private costar Taye Diggs and his pigtails wife Idina Menzel.
Looks like Justin and Keisha caught a ride home with Sara!

The 2008 Golden Globes nominees have just been announced this morning.
Grey's Anatomy is up for Best Series in a Drama against Big Love, House, Mad Men, The Tudors, and Damages.

Katherine Heigl has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series.

The 65th Annual Golden Globes will air January 13 on NBC

"Desperate Housewives,", "House," "Lost," ve "24" karanlığa gömülen diğer bazı çok seyredilen diziler. Bu hafta bazı büyük stüdyoların düzinelerce yazarla kontratlarını iptal etmeleri de, bu dizilerin büyük bölümünün bahar aylarında yeniden ekrana gelmesini uman seyircileri hayal kırıklığına uğratacak. Grev'i yapma nedenlerini vs. anliyorum hakda veriyorum ama olan bize oluyor.
Böyle uzun ayri kalmak seyirci kitlesi icin iyi olmiycaktir.
Ben dizi'den soguma korkusu yasiyorum, 2 sene cok uzun bir süre.
Hep ayni bölümleri izleyip'de tadina varilmiyor ki.

Bence en kisa zamanda akillica bir cözüm bulmalilar...
