Kar Wai'den yıldızlar geçidi

Her ne kadar bugünlerde 59. Cannes Film Festivali’nin jüri başkanlığını yürütmekle meşgul olsa da Wong Kar Wai kendi işlerine ara vermiş değil. Variety’nin bildirdiğine göre usta yönetmen yeni filmi My Blueberry Nights’ın kadrosunu oluşturdu.

Kar Wai’nin Nicole Kidman’lı The Lady From Shanghai projesini askıya aldığından bahsetmiş ve önceliği My Bluberry Nights’a verdiğini duyurmuştuk. Norah Jones’un ilk olarak yer aldığı kadroda Jude Law, Natalie Portman ve Rachel Weisz’ı da izleyeceğiz.

Norah Jones’un gerçek aşkı bulabilmek için Amerika’yı bir baştan bir başa geçeceği filmde genç kadının karşısına birbirinden farklı birçok karakter çıkacak.

Miller, geçtiğimiz yıl, Jude Law’ın, çocuklarının dadısıyla yaşadığı ilişkiyi itiraf etmesi nedeniyle aktörü terk etmiş ve aralarındaki nişanı atmıştı. Daha sonra barışan ve ilişkilerine kaldıkları yerden devam eden çiftin bu seferki ayrılık nedeni ise, Sienna’nın kendisini aldattığı için Jude Law’a acımasız davranması. Söylentiye göre, Law, Sienna’nın sürekli olarak aktörün bu hatasını yüzüne vurarak ilişkinin düzelmesine izin vermiyordu. Sienna’nın makyözü ve aynı zamanda arkadaşı olan Lizabeth Stewart, "Sienna Jude’u affetmeye kararlıydı ve evlenmek, eski mutlu günlerine dönmek istiyordu. Ama diğer yandan da ihanetini hatırlatarak çıkardığı kavgalarda Jude’un kendisine anlayış göstermesini bekliyordu. Bir türlü ihaneti unutamadı. JUDE LAW: "GARSONLUK YAPTIĞIM GÜNLERİ HATIRLADIM"

l Filmde aşkı arayan bir bar sahibini canlandırıyorsunuz. Bu karakterde kendinizi bulduğunuz zamanlar oldu mu?

- J.L.: Filmi çekerken garsonluk yaptığım günler geldi aklıma. Önümde tabaklar yığın halinde dururken o günleri düşündüm.

l Filmlerde ve gerçek hayatta genelde giden erkek, geride kalıp bekleyen ise kadınlar olur. Burada ise tam tersi oluyor.

- J.L.: Gitmek ya da kalmak değil, aradaki mesafeler önemli. Yanıbaşınızdaki biri size kilometrelerce uzakta olabilir. Film insanlar arasındaki mesafeleri anlatıyor.

l Norah Jones öpüşme sahnesinde boynunun tutulduğunu söyledi. Çekimler sizin için nasıl geçti?

- J.L.: Barın diğer tarafından eğilip, Norah’yı çekim boyunca öpebilmek için ben de bir sandalyenin üzerine çıkmak zorunda kaldım. Hem yönetmenimizin hem de bizim en fazla önemsediğimiz sahnelerden biriydi.

l İlk kez kamera karşısına geçen Norah Jones’a yardımlarınız oldu mu?

- J.L.: Norah’nın yardıma ihtiyacı yoktu aslında. Onunla olan diyaloglarımızda, söylenenleri dinlemeseniz bile ritmi yakalayabilirdiniz. Sanki bir düet yapıyor gibiydik.

l Atatürk’e olan benzerliğiniz nedeniyle, onun hayatını ve yaptıklarını konu alacak film projelerinde sık sık adınız geçiyor. Bu konudaki görüşlerinizi öğrenebilir miyim?

- J.L.: Şu ana kadar önüme Atatürk’le ilgili bir senaryo gelmiş değil. Ciddi bir teklif olursa seve seve değerlendiririm tabii.

Geçenlerde Jude'un Alfie filmine rastladım, hemen alıp izledim.Çok keyifliydi herkese tavsiye ederim.İyi iş çıkarmış bu filmde.Özellikle filmin sonu ayrı bir güzeldi.

ÜNLÜ aktör Jude Law (34), İngiltere’nin başkenti Londra’nın doğusunda Maida Vale bölgesindeki evinin önünde bir fotoğrafçıya saldırdı.

Fotoğrafçının elindeki kamerayı kırmak isteyen aktör, fiziksel saldırı suçuyla polis merkezine götürüldü. Parmak izi alınan Law, gelecek ay görülecek dava için kefaletle serbest bırakıldı.

'Hamlet' rolüyle tiyatroya dönüyor

Oyunculuğa 12 yaşındayken Londra'daki Ulusal Gençlik Müzik Sahnesi'nde başlayan Jude Law, yıllar sonra tiyatroya dönüyor. Shakespeare'nin 'Hamlet' adlı eserinde başrol oynayacak olan ünlü oyuncu, tüm zamanını ezber yaparak geçiriyor. Jude'u dün akşam Moviemax'te 'Inside the Actors Studio' parogramında izledim, çok keyifliydi.Özellikle tek kelimelik cevapları beni çok güldürdü.Oyunculuk yıllarının başında hiçbir oyuncu okulunun onu almaması ama buna rağmen 'bunu yapabilirim' düşüncesiyle yoluna hiçbir şey olmamış gibi devam etmesiyle beni kendine hayran bıraktı.O programdan sonra zaten çok sevdiğim Jude'u daha çok sevemye başladım.Porgramı izlemek isteyenler olursa eğer, birkaç gün içerisinde tekrarı kesin olur Moviemax'te.

Ünlü İngiliz aktör Jude Law, yeni Alman sevgilisi için jetiyle 500 mil kat etti ve ünlü iç çamaşırı mankeni Susan Hoecke'le Berlin'de buluştu. İkilinin buluşmasını paparazziler adım adım takip edip fotoğrafladı. Sienna Miller'dan ayrıldıktan sonra Hoecke ile aşk yaşamaya başlayan Law, sevgilisi için 500 mil yol kat etti. Almanya'da buluşan çift, ilk önce Hoecke'nin arabasıyla Berlin'de bir tur attı.
Ardından Shiro I Shiro adlı Japon restoranında mum ışığında yemek yiyerek romantik bir akşam geçirdi. Yemeğin başında gergin ve huzursuz gözüken çift, iki şişe şarap içtikten sonra kahkahalar atmaya ve eğlenmeye başladı. Çifti görenler, onların çok mutlu olduklarını ve birbirlerine çok ince davrandıklarını söyledi. Law'un ünlü mankene bakmaya doyamadığı da meraklı gözlerden kaçmadı. Hoecke, Almanya'nın ünlü modellerinden biri. 2005 yılında Miss Berlin seçildi.

Dr. Parnassus'un Üçlüsü!

Heath Ledger'ın yerini Johnny Depp, Jude Law, ve Colin Farrell aldı!

Genç aktör Heath Ledger'ın erken trajik ölümünün Terry Gilliam'ın The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus projesini belirsizliğe sürüklediğini daha önce yazmıştık.

Filmde Ledger'a ait olan Tony karakterini, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, ve Colin Farrell'in oynamasına karar verildi. Üç ünlü oyuncu aynı projede, aynı karaktere hayata vererek zor zamanlar geçiren projeye büyük bir destek veriyor.

Christopher Plummer ve Tom Waits'in de oyuncuları arasında bulunduğu film, Tony'nin üç ayrı boyutta yaşamasını konu ediniyor. Filmin çekimleri uzun zaman önce Londra'da başladı.

Gattaca’, bu akşam CNBC-e’de

90’ların en önemli bilimkurgu filmleri arasına giren “Gattaca”, gelecekte herkesin hızlı DNA taramasıyla test edildiği, daha doğarken kaç yaşında hangi hastalıktan öleceğinin söylendiği zamanları anlatıyor.

Ethan Hawke, Jude Law ve Uma Thurman’lı iyi oyuncu kadrosu ve şık görselliğiyle göz dolduran “Gattaca”, bu akşam saat 22.00’de CNBC-e’nin bilimkurgu kuşağında izleyicilerle buluşuyor.

Gattaca, genetik mühendisliğinin yönettiği bir gelecekte geçiyor. İnsanların sağlığının büyük ölçüde doğuştan belirlenebildiği bir zaman bu: Annelerle babalar çocuklarını sıhhi açıdan nasıl bir gelecek beklediğini bilebiliyorlar, çünkü doktorlar onların “olası çocukları”nın içinden mümkün en sağlıklı genetik karışımı ortaya çıkarabiliyorlar.

Öte yandan “eski moda” yönteme inananlar, genetik müdahalesiz doğum yapanlar da var. İşte Vincent Freeman (Ethan Hawke) da böyle doğmuş olanlardan biri: Annesiyla babası onun “genetik karışımını” şansa bırakmaya karar vermiş... Ancak şans pek de yaver gitmemiş ve doktorlar daha doğum ânında Vincent’ın birçok biyolojik kusurun (mesela göz bozukluğunu) yanısıra kalbinde de bir sorun olduğunu söyleyip, ona tahmini 30 sene ömür biçmişler.
Ancak Vincent’ın tek laneti bu kısa ömür tahmini değil: Genetik açıdan neredeyse kusursuz insanların dünyasında, otomatik olarak ikinci sınıf vatandaş konumunda buluyor kendini. Çünkü Gattaca’nın dünyasında genetik sadece doğumları değil, yaşamları, statüleri de yönetiyor: İşe alım da dahil olmak üzere birçok konuda insanların genetik durumlarına bakılarak karar veriliyor.

Çocukluğundan beri kurduğu uzaya gitme hayalleri de bu genetik kusurlar nedeniyle yıkılmasıysa Vincent’ın tehlikeli yollara başvurmasına neden olacak....

Jude Law, barış için Afganistan’da

İngiliz aktör Jude Law, savaş yüzünden harabeye dönen Afganistan’ı, barışa destek vermek için ziyaret ediyor.

Yönetmen Jeremy Gilley ile birlikte geldiği Afganistan’ın başkenti Kabil’de basın toplantısı düzenleyen Law, “Geçen yıl Kabil’den ayrıldığım zaman yalnızca hakkında çok şey okuduğum savaştan değil, insanların cesareti ve umutlarından da mütehassis oldum” dedi.

Jude Law, Afganistan halkının Barış Gününü gerçekten kutlamak istediklerini, hayatların kurtulabileceğini bildiklerini ifade etti.

İngiliz yönetmen Gilley’in çevirdiği “Peace One Day” adlı belgesele de konu olan lobi faaliyetlerinin ardından, BM Genel Kurul kararıyla Dünya Barış Günü 2001 yılında resmileşmişti.

“Yetenekli Bay Ripley” (The Talented Mr. Ripley) ve “Soğuk Dağ” (Cold Mountain) gibi filmlerdeki rolüyle tanınan ve Oscar’a aday gösterilen Jude Law, Gilley’e “The Day After Peace” adlı ikinci belgeseli çekmesine yardım etmişti.

Jude Law çok tatlıdır ya.Hem yakışıklı hem de yetenekli ender oyunculardan biridir.Özel hayatıyla gündemde olan insanları pek sevmem fakat Jude Law da öyle bir şeytan tüyü var ki onu sevmemek olanaksız.Oynadığı her filmin de hakkını veriyor.Önümüzdeki yıllarda yüksek bir ihtimalle Oscar alacağını da düşünüyorum.

En Yakışıklı Watson

Guy Ritchie'nin Sherlock Holmes filmi için büyük bir özenle kasting çalışmaları yaptığını biliyoruz. Yönetmenin ünlü dedektifi canlandırması için Robert Downey Jr.'ı tercih etmesini hayli isabetli bir karar bulurken, Sherlock'un yardımcısı Watson için geçen bir isim yeniden heyecanlanmamıza neden oldu. Jude Law'un Dr. Watson karakteri olarak Guy Ritchie'nin prestijli projesinde yer alacağı söyleniyor. Hatta kimi haber kaynaklarına göre Jude Law peojeye imzasını atmaya çok yakın. Eğer Law yönetmenle bir anlaşmaya varırsa, sanırız beyazperde üzerindeki en çekici Dr. Watson ile karşı karşıya kalacağız.
