Çok iyi bir oyuncu olmadığını bildiğim halde... yer aldığı her filmine ilk koşan benimdir.

Polemik falan değil amacım ama eğer bu adam kötü oyuncuysa piyasada iyi oyuncu yoktur.
Hem aşık, hem seri katil rollerinde izledim ve tek kelimeyle muhteşem bürünüyor rolüne.

Keanu Reeves'i ben "kendisinden" ötürü beğeniyor ve oyunculuğunu maalesef yetersiz bulmama rağmen, can-ı gönülden yinede kabulleniyorum. Bunu daha öncede söylemiştim.
Keanu her filiminde aynı "surat"la oynamıştır. Aynı bakışlar. Aynı mimikler.
Bunu sadece ben değil, tüm sinema eleştirmenleri söylüyor.
Hollywood-Medyasının onun için hep bir ağızdan :" donuk bakışlı " dediğini biliyormuydun sevgili Angel-us?
Onun oyunculuğu, örneğin : bir Johnny Depp'in veya Sean Penn'in veya Edward Norton'un v.s. oyunculuğu ile eşit tutulamaz. Tutulacak olunursa, bu diğer üstün performanslı oyunculara haksızlık olur.
Yorumuna gelince sevgili Angel-us , hemen hemen her oyuncu kendi kariyeri içersinde, birbirine zıt kutuplarda seyir eden tipler oynamışlardır, bir filminde kurban, diğerinde katil...veya bir filminde psikopat ve diğerinde de insanlığın kurtarıcısı olmuşlardır.
Bu başarılması imkansız bir çelişki değildir ki? Veya mutlaka tebrik edilmesi gereken?
Keanu , ne yazıktır ki katil rolünde mesela (the Watcher) de aynı donuk mimik ve dümdüz oyunculuğu ile karşımıza çıkmıştır... ve insanlığın kurtarıcısı Neo olarak da aynı "surat"la oynamıştır. Ama ben + sen onu yine seviyoruz...o başka!
Kendi adıma söylüyorum : ben Keanu'yu her filminde canlandırdığı o karakter olarak değilde hep "keanu" olarak izlemişimdir:
Dracula 'da ki Keanu ... Speed/Hız da ki Keanu ... JohnnyMnemonic'de ki Keanu ... Hardball'da ki Keanu ... The Watcher, Matrix, Constantine v.s bu böyle sürüp gider ... her yerde aynı yüz ifadeleri, aynı "donuk" bakışlar"...

Senin saydığın oyuncular gerçekten aşmış oyuncular ki fizikleri de her role bürünmelerine müsait bence. Belki Keanu Reeves de bu yok eksiği budur. Ama bence iyi iş çıkarıyor en azından filmde yüzüne bakınca iyi veya kötü hangi role büründüğünü anlıyorum şahsen :)

Cehennem kaçaklarının peşinde koşan Constantine beyazperdeye dönemeye hazırlanıyor gibi. The Lake House'da rol alan Sandra Bullock ve Keanu Reeves, filmin tanıtımı için düzenlenen basın toplantısında ComingSoon'a Constantine 2 hakkında ipucu vermekten kaçınmamış.
Kendisine Constantine'in devam filmiyle ilgili sorular yöneltilen aktör daha ağzını açmaya fırsat bulmadan yanıt rol arkadaşından gelmiş. Bullock'a göre böyle bil film olacaksa bile Reeves içinde olmamalı.
Yanıta kendisi de şaşıran aktör arkadaşına neden olmamalıyım diye sormayı ihmal etmemiş. Bullock'un yanıtı ilkinden de ilginç. ''Sen beni Hız Tuzağı 2 ile ilgili uyarmamıştın. Ama ben arkadaşın olarak oynamaman gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Eğer oynarsan da Constatine 2'de sigarayı bırakmalısın''.
Bullock'un tavsiyelerinin ardından konuya dönen Reeves ''Böyle bir durum söz konusu. Ben kesinlikle yer almak isterim ama yapımcıların kararı henüz belli değil. Uzun bir hikaye diyerek'' soruyu biraz geçiştirmiş.

Konusu
Hayatında bir değişiklik yapma vaktinin geldiğini hisseden Dr. Kate Forster (SANDRA BULLOCK) stajını tamamladığı yerel İllinois hastanesinden ayrılarak hasta trafiğinin yoğun olduğu Chicago’da bir hastanede çalışmayı kabul eder. Geride bırakmaktan üzüntü duyduğu tek şey kiralamış olduğu güzel evdir. Sığınağı olarak gördüğü bu ferah ve şık tasarımlı evin geniş pencerelerinden karşıdaki sakin göl görünmektedir. Kendini gerçek anlamda kendi gibi hissettiği tek yer burasıdır.

Matrix filmlerinin başrol oyuncusu Keanu Reeves, California’da kullandığı Porsche marka otomobille, önünü kesen bir paparazziye hafifçe çarptı. Geçen pazartesi günü meydana gelen olayda, adı açıklanmayan paparazzi yere düştü ve sağlık görevlileri çağrıldı.
Reeves’in bir otoparktan çıkmakta olduğunu ve foto muhabirinin otomobilin önünde durduğunu açıklayan polis, Porsche’nin olay sırasındaki süratinin bilinmediğini belirtti. Aktörün avukatı ise olayın bir "tezgáh" olabileceğini belirterek "Peşini bırakmayan paparazzi, Reeves hareket ettiği sırada yolunu kesmiş. Reeves, kenara çekileceğini sanarak frene basmamış" dedi.

Ünlü aktör acaba neden böyle bir poz verdi? Aslında Reeves de bu sorunun yanıtını bilmiyor ve sadece şunları söylüyor: "Bu pozu verdiğimde 20 yaşındaydım. Bilirsiniz o yaşta gençler biraz kaçık olur. Matrix’e tutuklama
Matrix’İn ünlü oyuncusu Keanu Reeves, polis olarak hayranlarının karşısına çıkmaya hazırlanıyor. Reeves’i yeni filmi The Night Watchman’in setinde görenler onu diğer polislerden ayırmakta güçlük çektiler. Rolü için uzun süre polislerden ders alan Reeves, şimdi gerçek polislere taş çıkarıyor.
