Ben Affleck’in ilk uzun metraj filmini yönetmek üzere kamera arkasına geçmeye hazırlandığını duyurmuş ve Gone, Baby, Gone’la ilgili gelişmeleri aktarmıştık .

IGN Filmforce’un bildirdiğine göre Affleck’in filminin kadrosuna Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, Amy Ryan ve Deadwood’un aktörlerinden Titus Welliver eklendi.

Affleck’in Dennis Lehane’nin romanından uyarlayacağı filmde Bostonlu iki özel dedektifin kayıp bir kızın izini sürmesi anlatılıyor.

"Hollywoodland", televizyon tarihinin ilk Superman’i George Reeves’in hayatını konu alıyor. Reeves’i filmde Ben Affleck canlandırdı. Kariyerinde büyük bir düşüş yaşayan aktör, ilk Superman rolüyle yükselişe geçmeyi planlıyor. Yakışıklı aktör ödülleri toplamaya başladı bile ve en son bu rolüyle Venedik Film Festivali'nde 'Altın Aslan' kazandı.

Film, 16 Haziran 1959 tarihinde evinde verdiði bir parti sonrası yatağında ölü bulunan Reeves’in intihar mı ettiği yoksa bir cinayete mi kurban gitti sorusuna da yanıt arıyor.

izlemediğim filmi yok...jennifer lopezli ve ondan sonraki belli bir dönemde yaptığı işlerde bazı şansızlıklar yaşadı bence sadece özel hayatıyla gündeme çok fazla gelişi sebebiyle bazı insanlar antipati duydular ..ama o dönemi jennifer garner la tanıştıktıktan ve akabinde evlendikten sonra tamamiyle atlattı bana göre...yani iyi hali onun geçmişteki tüm olumsuz antipatik tavırlarını sildi ve şimdi en iyi yardımcı erkek oyuncu dalında golden globe e aday gösterildi ...bunun öncesinde çoğu festivallerde de oyunculuk performansı birçok dalda aday gösterildi ve geçtiğimiz sene Venedik’te en iyi erkek oyuncu performansıyla Altın Aslan ödülüne layık görüldü...bence ben affleck geri döndü artık ...çoğu insanların bocaladığı dönemleri olur bizlerinde oluyor elbetteki onlarında ...birde onların dünyası bambaşka düşünsenize ...

Aktör Ben Affleck bugüne kadar oyunculuğu ile karışık eleştiriler almasına rağmen, ilk yönetmenlik denemesiyle hem izleyiciden hem de eleştirmenlerden iyi notlar aldı. Sinemacı bu destek üzerine yeni projeler hazırlamaya ve kamera arkasına geçmeye devam ediyor.

Affleck'in hazırladığı ve büyük bir ihtimalle yönetmenliğii üstleneceği proje, 2007'nin en iyi kitapları arasında kabul edilen Marcus Sakey'in The Blade Itself romanından uyarlanacak. Kitap, gençliğinde suça karışan iki arkadaşın yıllar sonra karşılaşmasını anlatıyor. Hayatta farklı yönde ilerledikleri için biri geçmişini gizleme taraftarıdır ve bu görüşmeden hiç memnun olmaz.

Yeni ev arıyorlar

Beş aylık hamile olduğu söylenen Jennifer Garner ve Ben Affleck çifti, genişleyecek olan aileleri için yeni bir ev arayışına girdi. İki yaşındaki kızları Violet'le birlikte daha büyük bir evde yaşamak isteyen çift, Los Angeles'taki emlakçılarla görüşmelere başladı. Çiftin havuzlu ve geniş bahçeli bir ev istedikleri söyleniyor. Hamile olduğunu resmi olarak açıklamayan Jennifer Garner'ın doğacak bebeğinin cinsiyeti de merak konusu oldu.

Reindeer Games filminde futbol oyuncusu Dana Stubblefield yüzünden bayıldı. Stubblefield kayınca Affleck yere düştü ve kendinden geçti. Hastaneye kaldırıldı. Önemli bir şeyi olmadığı anlaşıldı.
