"Titanic"le yıldızı ı, "Sil Baştan"la gönüllerde taht kurdu. İngiliz oyuncu Kate Winslet, bu hafta vizyona giren "Aşk ve Sigara"da..


Geçtiğimiz günlerde Jim Carrey ile başrolünü paylaştığı "Sil Baştan"da izlediðimiz İngiliz aktris Kate Winslet, Cuma günü vizyona giren "Aşk ve Sigara"da (Romance & Cigarettes) kızıl saçlı Tula olarak karşımıza çıktı. Bu vesileyle gelin Kate Winslet'ın sinema serüvenine bir göz atalım.

Kate Winslet, İngiltere’de kendisi gibi oyuncu olan bir ailenin çocuğu olarak 5 Ekim 1975’de dünyaya geldi. Büyükbabasının evlerinin arka bahçesinde kurduğu sahnede tüm aile oyunculuklarını sergilerdi. Dolayısıyla Kate'e de oyunculuk bu sahnede bulaştı. Winslet, ilk rolünü 5 yaşındayken bir okul oyununda oynadı. İlk sinema filmi ise Yeni Zelandalı yönetmen Peter Jackson’un çıkış filmi "Heavenly Creatures" oldu.

Ama onu üne kavuşturan tüm zamanların en yüksek bütçeli filmlerinden "Titanic"ti. Leonardo DiCaprio'yla başrolü paylaştıkları "Titanic", şimdiden hafızalara kazındı. Oyunculuk hayatı boyunca 4 kere Oscar’a aday gösterilen Winslet’ın eleştirmenler tarafından en çok beğenilen rolü ise “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” (Sil Baþtan) adlı filmdeki 'Clementine' oldu.

Winslet'ın filmleri arasında “All the King’s Men” (Kralın Adamları), “Neverland” (Düþler Ülkesi), “Quills” (Düşlerin Efendisi), “Holy Smoke” (Kutsal Duman), “Sense and Sensibility” (Aşk ve Yaşam) gibi filmleri sayabiliriz.

Popülist politikacı Willie Stark'ın konuşmaları yüzünden başı derde giren Jack Burden'ı, Jude Law'ın canlandıracağı filmde; Willie Stark'ı da Sean Penn'in oynaması bekleniyor. Robert Penn Warren'ın romanından uyarlanan senaryoyu, Steven Zaillian çekecek.

Sean Penn, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, James Gandolfini ve Anthony Hopkins’in başrollerini paylaştıkları ‘All the King’s Men’in dünya prömiyeri, 7-16 Eylül tarihleri arasında düzenlenen Toronto Film Festivali’nde yapılacak. Tutku Oyunları’ndaki etkileyici performansıyla kariyerinde beşinci kez Oscar’a aday gösterilen Kate Winslet, In Style dergisine konuştu. Winslet; "Eskiden kendime acımakla vakit geçiriyordum.

Şimdilerde ruh halimi düzeltmem sadece bir saatimi alıyor" diyor. İşte bu röportajdan ilginç bölümler:

Şanslıyım çünkü yıldızların dünyasına, kırmızı halıların serildiği etkinlikler dışında katılmak zorunda kalmıyorum.

Oscar kazanmayı çok istiyorum ama hayatımda en önem verdiğim şey ailem. Geçenlerde kızım Mia, arabada bana "Anne senin yemeklerine bayılıyorum." dediğinde çok mutlu oldum. Demek ki yemekleri benim yaptığımın farkında.

Herkes onu (Sam Mendes) klasik eğitimli bir akademisyen sanıyor ama onun kadar beni güldüren kimse olamaz.

Daha fazla çocuk sahibi olmayı umuyorum. Belki bir, belki iki tane daha. Tanrım, gerçekten daha fazla çocuk istiyorum.

Magazin dergilerinin evime girmesi yasak. Çünkü magazin dergileri anoreksik bir kuşak yetiştiriyor. Bazen öyle zayıf kızlar görüyorum ki, yanlarına gidip, "Bir şeyler yemende sakınca yok, hadi ye lütfen" demek istiyorum.

“Titanik”in unutulmaz ikilisi Leonardo DiCaprio ve Kate Winslet yeni bir filmde tekrar bir araya geliyor!

Sam Menders’in yöneteceği “Revolutionary Road” isimli film, Richard Yates’in 1961’de yazdığı ve savaş sonrasını anlattığı aynı adlı romanından uyarlama.

Film, banliyöde yaşayan iki çocuklu mutlu bir çift etrafında şekil alıyor. Sözde mutlu çiftimiz gerçek arzularıyla, yerleşmiş kalıplara itaat etmemin baskısı arasında kalıyor ve hiç umulmadık sonuçlar ortaya çıkıyor. “Revolutionary Road” sayesinde “Titanik” ile sinema tarihine geçen Leonardo DiCpario ve Kate Winslet’i tekrar bir arada izleyebileceğiz.

Filmin çekimleri bu yaz başlayacak.

Ünlü aktris Kate Winslet, geçtiğimiz günlerde ünlü İngiliz dergisi Grazia'ya karşı açtığı bir davadan kazandığı 6 bin doları bir yardım kuruluşuna bağışladı.Beslenme bozuklukları olan hastalara yardım eden derneğe davadan aldığı tüm paraya bağışlayan Winslet, sıfır bedene karşı olan söylemleriyle tanınıyor.Birçok ünlünün aksine balık etli olan güzel yıldız, zayıflamak uğruna sağlığını kaybedenlere yardım ediyor.
