Kendinizi hiç kaybolmuş bir ruh gibi hissettiniz mi?

Evet, geçmişte böyle hislere kapıldığım oldu, bence çoğu insan gençlik döneminde böyle bir şey hisseder ve ben de bu duygudan nasibimi aldım zamanında. “ Girl, Interrupted ”da rol almak istememin nedenlerinden biri de buydu sanırım. Bence çok insanca bir duygu bu...



Şeytan’a inanır mısınız?

Hayır, hiç inanmam. Şeytan kovma ayinleriyle ilgili pek çok kaset izledim, hatta bu ayinleri yapan bir rahiple konuştum. O bile, bunların çoğu zaman sahte olduğunu, gerçekle alakası olmadığını söyledi. İzlediğim kasetlerde hep genç insanlar, genç kızlar vardı, bence bu kişiler ciddi anlamda problemli insanlar.

İki yıl önce bir arkadaşımı şizofreni yüzünden kaybettim, burada izlediğim görüntüler bana onu hatırlattı. Kişi aklını yitirdiğinde vücudunu inanılmaz şekillere sokabiliyor, normalde yapamayacağı hareketleri yapabiliyor. Kendi kemiklerini bile kırabiliyor. Benim arkadaşım da birtakım sesler duyduğunu söylüyordu sürekli, ama bunların şeytanın sesi olduğunu düşünmüyorum ben. Hastalığı sebebiyle duyduğu seslerdi onlar...



Sizce insanların dini inançları “ Kayıp Ruhlar ” filmini algılayışlarını etkileyecek mi?

Filmin Katolik inancıyla büyütülmüş herkesi dehşete düşürdüğüne şahit oldum. Bence insanların bu korkularla büyütülmesi filmin kendisinden daha korkunç. Küçücük kafaların şeytan korkusuyla doldurulması akıl almaz, anlaşılmaz bir şey olarak görünüyor bana. Bir çocuğa yanlış bir şey yaparsa cehennemde cayır cayır yanacağını söyleyerek onu korkutmak nasıl bir mantığa sığıyor, anlayamıyorum. Benim babam ateist, annemse Budistti ve ben çocukluğumda şeytan kelimesini duymadan büyüdüm. Bence şeytan sadece bir efsane.



Kimi insanlar kötü davranışlarının suçunu şeytana yüklüyorlar...

İnsanların işledikleri suçları, hatalarını örtbas etmek, makul göstermek için şeytana, dine sığınmaları bana çok ilginç geliyor. “ Kayıp Ruhlar ”daki rolüme hazırlanırken İncil’i okudum ve içinde ne kadar farklı ve güzel şeyler olduğunun farkına vardım.

Oysa Yugoslavya’da, İrlanda’da insanlar birbirlerini öldürürken dini bir kalkan olarak kullanıyorlar. Bu çok korkunç. Benim ailemde kimse hiçbir dini kötülemezdi, babam dinin insanların afyonu olduğunu söylerdi kimi zaman, o kadar... Bana hiçbir zaman şuna ya da buna inan demediler, benim kendi kararımı kendimin vermemi istediler. Bence Tanrı insanın içindedir...

“ Şeytan ” filmi hakkında ne düşünüyorsunuz?

Bence çok zekice bir film “ Şeytan ”. Çok beğendim. Bunun az önce söylediklerimle çelişkili olduğunu biliyorum ama filmdeki oyunculuk öyle başarılıydı ki, ben bile şeytana inanmadığım halde filmi izlerken korktum.



Madem şeytana inanmıyorsunuz, “ Kayıp Ruhlar ”da rol almayı neden kabul ettiniz?

Daha önce böyle bir filmde rol almamıştım hiç ve içten içe istiyordum bunu. Oyunculuk kariyerinizin başında sadece ciddi, gerçekçi yapımlarda rol almayı istiyorsunuz, bunlar da çoğunlukla dramatik eserler oluyorlar. Oysa çoğu oyuncu “ Alien ” gibi filmlerde rol almayı düşlüyor gizli gizli. Ben de geçmişe dönüp baktığımda böyle doğaüstü olayları konu edinen bir filmde rol almış olmayı istiyordum. Böyle filmleri izlemekten de büyük keyif almışımdır zaten.



“ Kayıp Ruhlar ” uzunca bir süre “ Winona Ryder’ın rol aldığı gerilim filmi ” olarak anıldı. İsim bulmak çok mu güç oldu?

Böyle bir şey duymadım hiç. Senaryo bana “ Kayıp Ruhlar ” ismiyle geldi.



Film uzun süre askıda kaldı. Bunun sebebi neydi?

Bunu ben de bilmiyorum. Geçenlerde ben de yapımcımıza “ Filmin gösterime girmesinin neden bu kadar zaman aldığı sorulursa ne cevap vermeliyim ” diye soruyordum. Ama hala bilmiyorum bu sorunun yanıtını. Filmin çekimlerini iki yıl önce tamamladık.



Bu gecikmenin sebebini öğrenmek istemediniz mi?

Filmlerin çekim sonrası çalışmalarının içinde bulunmadım hiç. Bir film izlemeye gittiğim vakit oraya giden sıradan bir izleyiciden farkım yoktur. Box office raporları vs. gibi şeylerle de alakam olmaz, filmin çekimi boyunca bana verilen rolü en iyi şekilde yerine getirmeye çalışırım ama çekimler bittiğinde bana filmin gösterime girmesini beklemek kalır.

Uzun süredir kameralardan uzak yaşayan Hollywood’un ünlü oyuncusu Winona Ryder yeni filminin setinde cömert pozlarıyla paparazzilere yakalandı.
Vizyona girdiği dönemde tüm dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de büyük ilgi gören ‘New York’ta Sonbahar’ adlı filmdeki performansıyla büyük başarı elde eden güzel yıldız Ryder uzun süredir ortalıkta görünmüyordu. Hayranlarının sabırsızlıkla beklediği son filmi ‘The Last Word’un çekimlerine devam eden ünlü oyuncu başrolünü Wes Bentley ile paylaştığı filmin New York’daki setinde görüntülendi.

Yaşadığı rahatsızlık ve talihsizliklerin ardından, beyazperdede oldukça uzun zamandır kaliteli yapımlardan uzak kalan Winona Ryder, bol oyunculu The Informers projesi ile geri dönüyor. Winona üzerinde çalıştığı 3 filmin promosyonu ile meşgul şu aralar. Geçtiğimiz günlerde Vouge adlı dergiye filmlerini anlatan Ryder başka konulardan da bahsetti. 2001 ‘deki tutuklanması ile ilgili olarak yaptığının yanlış olduğunu söyledi ve şöyle ekledi;

Pippa'nın Özel Oyuncuları

Rebecca Miller'ın kendi romanından uyarladığı ve yönetmenliği üstlendiği The Private Lives of Pippa Lee'nin gösterim tarihi 2009 olsa da, film şimdiden oyuncuları ile gündeme geliyor. Filmde kimler yok ki: Robin Wright Penn, Julianne Moore, Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alan Arkin ve Monica Bellucci. Birbirinden ünlü oyuncuları bir araya getiren filme en son New York, I Love You'da yer alan Blake Lively de katıldı.

Çekimleri önümüzdeki ay başlayacak film, kocasının daha genç bir kadına aşık olmasıyla birlikte terkedilen 50 yaşındaki bir kadının öyküsünü merkeze alıyor.

Bende hiç sevmemiştim bu filmi.
Sadece "şaka" yapacağız, onlara birer ders vereceğiz diye Veronica ve J.D'nin bazı okul arkadaşlarını öldürmesi ve Veronica'nın "aslında" suçsuz oluşu ama her öldürdükleri kurbanın ardından , kurbanın el yazısını taklit ederek intihar mektubu yazmaları, sonrada okulu havaya uçurmak istemeler falan...v.s ne dram, ne aksiyon, ne de komikti. En fazla olsa olsa biraz gülünç gelmişti bana.
Kurgusu, oyunculuklar... herşeyi ile bana kalk yerinden kapat dvd-playeri, bu işkenceye daha fazla katlanma diyor gibiydi:img-wink:

Stay Cool...

Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase ve Jon Cryer, Polish Biraderler'in yeni filmi Stay Cool'da buluştu. Diğer Polish filmlerinden farklı olarak komedi tarzında çekilecek olan filme en son Hilary Duff katıldı.

Haziran ayında Kaliforniya'da çekilecek olan film başarılı bir yazarın kadınlarla girdiği ilişkilerde düştüğü gülünç durumlar üzerinden ilerliyor.

Filmde yazarı canlandıracak olan Mark Polish aynı zamanda kardeşi Michael Polish ile birlikte filmi yönetecek. Filmin senaryosu ise yine yönetmen kardeşlere ait.
