Modern Dracula

John Marks'ın Fangland isimli ünlü romanı beyazperdede. Modern bir Dracula öyküsü olan Fangland'ın filmi hızlı başladı ve yapımcılar başrol için Hillary Swank ile anlaştı.

Swank filmde Romanya'ya Avrupa'nın en gizemli iş adamlarından biri ile röportaj yapmaya giden bir televizyon muhabirini canlandıracak. Tahmin edileceği üzere sırlarla dolu işadamı Dracula çıkacak. Filmin senaryosunun ilk taslağı grevden önce yazıldığı için, cast çalışmaları son hız devam ediyor....

Oscar ödüllü oyuncu Hilary Swank, W dergisine çarpıcı açıklamalar yaptı. Sinemayı bir şans oyunu olan lotoya benzeten Swank şöyle konuştu: "Bir filmin gişede başarı yakalayıp yakalamaması tümüyle şans işi. Oyuncunun görevi ise sonucu düşünmeden elinden gelenin en iyisini yapıp, gerisini seyirciye bırakmaktır. Bu loto oynamak gibi bir şey."

Beyazperdenin Oscarlı güzellerinden Hilary Swank, şu sıralar çok keyifli günler geçiriyor. Ülkemizde de vizyonda olan yeni filmi 'Not: Seni Seviyorum'un aldığı olumlu eleştirilerle keyfi yerine gelen Swank, özel hayatında da mutlu günler yaşıyor. Bir süredir menajeri John Campisi ile birlikte olan güzel yıldız, "Hayatımda ikinci kez büyük bir aşk yaşıyorum, tek bir ruh eşimiz olsaydı, şu anda yaşadığım duyguları yaşayamazdım" şeklinde konuşuyor. * Rol arkadaşım Gerard Butler'ın filmde benim için yaptığı bir striptiz sahnesi var ki kesinlikle görülmeye değer. O sahneyi çekerken hafif bir kaza geçirdim. Sahnede Gerard pantolon askılarıyla oynuyordu, derken bir tane kayış fırladı ve kafama çarptı. Kafama 5 dikiş atıldı. Bir haftalığına çekimlere ara verdim.

* Olaydan sonra Gerard çok üzüldü ve hatta ağladı! Hastanede kaldığım sürece bana sürekli hediye, çikolata ve çiçekler gönderdi.

* Filmde şarkı söylediğim sahneyi de beğenenler çok oldu, bazıları şarkı söyleyenin ben olup olmadığımı soruyor; o gerçekten bendim!
