Beyazperdenin en güzel 100 kadını arasında gösterilen, "Altın Pusula"nın iyi kalpli cadısı Eva Green, Cannes Film Festivali’nde Türkiye’den sadece Kelebek’e konuştu. Green, "Dindar biri değilim. Hiçbir şeye inanmıyorum. Tek derdim kendi doğrularımla yaşamak" diyor.


Altın Pusula filminde Serafina Pekkala olarak uçmak nasıldı?Uçmaktan daha güzel ne olabilir? Gerçi narin bir yapım olduğu için iplerle havada kaldığım sahnelerde hayli zorlandım. Bu arada ben Lyra’ya yol gösteren iyi kalpli cadıyı oynuyorum.

n Filmin uyarlandığı Philip Pullman’ın romanını okudunuz mu?

Evet, harika bir üçlemeydi. Kitap, etkileyici bir maceranın yanı sıra entelektüel tartışmalara da yer veriyor. Kalıplaşmış öğretilere ve insanları hapseden teolojik felsefelere eleştiri getiriyor.

n Peki sizce kitap tam olarak filme yansıtılabildi mi?

Filmi daha izlemedim ama bana verilen son senaryo kitaba büyük ölçüde sadıktı. Eksik bazı kısımlar kalırsa da yapacak bir şey yok. Hiçbir zaman bir film, yazılı metni tam olarak perdeye yansıtamaz.

n Kitap anti-Hıristiyan bir yapıya sahip, ancak film ve yönetmenin açıklamalarından yola çıkarak kitapla film arasında farklılıklar olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Katılıyor musunuz?

Zor bir soru. Her kitap, okuyucusunun kalbinde ve beyninde farklı anlamlara sahip olabilir. Kitap için anti-Hıristiyan deniyor ama Pullman genel anlamda tüm baskıcı rejimleri eleştiriyor.

n Siz neye inanıyorsunuz?

Ben dindar biri değilim ve hiçbir şeye inanmıyorum.

n Bernardo Bertolucci’nin "Dreamers"ı çıkış filminizdi ve yıldızınız tam anlamıyla "Casino Royale" ile parladı. Zirvedeki yıldızlar arasında gösterilmek nasıl bir duygu?

"Casino Royale" ile popülaritemin arttığı bir gerçek. Bond kızı olmak da sinemada önemli bir paye sayılıyor. "Hayatım tamamen değişti" gibi cümleler kurmak istemiyorum, çünkü hayatım sadece iş anlamında değişti. Artık daha çok çalışmak zorundayım. Özel hayatımda ise aynı Eva Green’im.

n Bundan sonra sizi sürekli büyük bütçeli filmlerde mi izleyeceğiz?

Bağımsız filmleri tercih ederim. Çünkü marjinal ve uçlarda gezinen öyküler beni her zaman çekmiştir. Tabii bu, büyük filmlerde oynamayacağım anlamına gelmesin. Önemli olan senaryo. Bu arada temmuzda bağımsız bir filme başlayacağım. Ewan McGregor ile başrol oynayacağım.

n Sinema dışında müzikle ilgilendiğinizi biliyoruz...

Hayatımda sinemadan sonra müzik gelir. Müzik benim için bir yaşam biçimi. Piyano da çalıyorum. Sanatın farklı dallarında kendimi geliştirmeyi seviyorum.

n Bir röportajınızda "Cezayir, Türk, İspanyol ve İsviçre kanları damarlarımda dolaşıyor" demişsiniz. Gerçekten soyunuz Türkiye’ye uzanıyor mu?

Türk kanı yok, bunu kim yazmış merak ettim doğrusu. Annem Cezayir doğumlu ama Fransız vatandaşı. Babam İsviçreli. Büyükannem ise İspanyol. Aslında bunların hiçbiri önemli değil. Ben sınırlara ve milliyetçiliğe karşıyım. Kendi halinde bir dünya vatandaşıyım.

n İngiltere ile Fransa arasında mekik dokuyorsunuz sürekli... Bu durum size bir özgürlük kazandırıyor mu?

İşim dolayısıyla bu iki ülke arasında gidip geliyorum. Bu durum kısmen bir özgürlük sağlayabilir ama bazen kendimi çok yalnız hissettiğim de oluyor.

n Eva Green hep böyle kırılgan, zarif bir kadın mı?

İnsanın kendini anlatması zor ve benim de tercih edeceğim bir durum değil bu. Utangaç ve içine kapanık biri olmam belki sizde bu duyguyu yaratmış olabilir. Benim tek derdim kendi doğrularımla yaşamak ve kendimi kalıpların içine sokmamak. Benim için hayalperest diyebilirsiniz. Hayallerimi takip ediyorum ve kendimi gerçek anlamda oyuncukla ifade ettiğimi düşünüyorum. Size bir sır vereyim mi? Normal hayatta da kendi içimde yarattığım karakterleri canlandırarak yaşıyorum.

Bugüne kadar çekilen en pahalı film

Philip Pullman’ın tam 14 milyon satan "His Dark Materials" adlı üç ciltlik romanından uyarlanan "Altın Pusula" (The Golden Compass), 260 milyon dolarlık bütçesiyle şimdiye kadar çekilmiş en pahalı film olarak kabul ediliyor. Aralık ayında tüm dünyada aynı anda gösterime girecek olan "Altın Pusula"nın "Harry Potter" ve "Yüzüklerin Efendisi" gibi bir fenomene dönüşmesi bekleniyor. Filmin yönetmenliğini "American Pie", "About a Boy" filmlerinden tanıdığımız Chris Weitz üstlendi. Eva Green Lige Çalışıyor

Yeni Bond kızı Eva Green'in, bol süper kahramanlı Justice League of America projesine katılacağı söyleniyor. Bir süredir Avustralya'da bulunan güzel oyuncunun, George Miller'ın yöneteceği projede hangi kahraman olacağı henüz belli değil.

Superman, Batman ve Flash gibi kahramanları buluşturan Justice League of America'da Wonder Woman rolünü Aussie Megan Gale'in canlandıracağı söyleniyordu. Filmde Wonder Woman dışında başka bir kadın kahraman yoktu. Bu nedenle Eva Green'in Megan Gale yerine geçebileceği de söylentiler arasında.
